Moving Spaces III is officially in the works ✨
Hi everyone,
I’m really excited to finally share some proper news with you.
Moving Spaces III: Midnight is officially in the works.
The ideas are flowing, sketches are turning into real tracks, and it already feels like it’s finding its own identity. That slightly magical phase where everything is still possible… my favourite part!
I’ve also had a meeting with Outland Recordings, and we’ve agreed to team up again for this release. They’ll be handling the distribution and fulfilment side of things: vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and merch, which honestly feels like a huge weight off my shoulders! If you’ve ever shipped records yourself, you’ll know it’s not exactly a relaxing hobby. Being able to focus on the music while they handle the logistics is a massive win. 🙂
The plan is to bring Moving Spaces III to Kickstarter later this year. More details soon, but yes – physical formats are very much part of the vision. Fulfilment will be handled from the UK this time, which should also make things smoother on the shipping front.
On another note, I’ve also launched my music production course, The Audio Arcade. It’s been a real game changer for me behind the scenes. Having a way to support my work outside of releases (and touring in the future) gives me more independence as a small, solo artist in a niche scene and ultimately more space to focus on the music itself! ^_^
If you’re curious about song creation, arrangement, or mixing, you’re very welcome to check it out.
The main course is called The 14-Level Mix Quest™ , and it’s designed to help you actually finish music instead of endlessly looping eight bars (we’ve all been there).
A couple of extra bits of news while I’m at it:
– I’m featured in the book Making Synthwave: How an Online Music Community Invented a Genre by Jess Blaise Ward.
– My music also had an appearance in the German TV series Schattenseite, a dark, dramatic production that’s available to stream on ARD’s website. It’s in German only, but still a surreal thing to stumble across.
Thank you, as always, for the support, the messages, the excitement, and the patience. I hope you’ve had a great start to the new year! ^_^
More soon.
Laura 💜
