Point-and-Click Game in Development!
Did you catch the Discord news? Iāve started developing a retro point-and-click game as a companion to my next album! š®š Whilst walking through the forest with Hannah I let her listen to the new track I made, she said it felt like stepping into a nostalgic point-and-click adventureāand that sparked the whole project!
As some of you know, I’m a big fan of Star Trek and Sci-fi, so of course this one is set in space and I’ve made solid progress since starting in August. Though the graphics are basic for now, āChapter 1ā is nearly complete! Once the mechanics are nailed down, Iāll focus on the pixel art and will try to make it look amazing and, of course, adding music. š¶ Want to follow along? Join my DiscordāI’ve got a whole channel dedicated to development updates: #devquest-with-laura
AKARI Board Game Testing!
The AKARI Board Game is also in testing, and I shared a screenshot of it in Tabletop Simulator in my last newsletter. If you’re following along, stay tuned for more updates as we refine things!
Kyoto Dreams Journals Available!
As I clear things out at home Marie Kondo style, I found a few last copies of the Kyoto Dreams hardcover journals (only 3 left!) and 1 softcover version. Theyāre now available on my web store for anyone who missed the Kickstarter or would like an extra copy!
There are also some Moving Spaces II coasters leftover from the Indiegogo campaign if you’re interested: MSII Coasters
