What’s New?

Happy Sunday everyone! Lots of new things are happening! You may have seen or not seen it yet, but Hannah has started a fanpage on Instagram for us, where she’ll put different content on it, anything from behind scenes material to creative works, such as her new “choose your own adventure” type of visual novel, like the ones we all loved so much back in the 80s! 🙂 She has written a story with some options at the end, and you dear reader, can decide what path Laura Dre should go. Most votes will be the deciding factor. If you haven’t seen it already, go check it out here: https://www.instagram.com/lauradre_fanpage/

Moving Spaces II: Twilight Soundscapes

Last Friday the instrumental MSII version released on Spotify, iTunes and all major platforms! 🙂

Bandcamp News

Anyone out there who hasn’t gotten Moving Spaces on vinyl yet? If so, you might be interester in this: Outland Recordings has made off-centered Moving Spaces vinyls available on https://lauradre.bandcamp.com/album/moving-spaces ! 🙂 “These were originally pressed slightly off-centre (OC) by the manufacturer and have been in storage since release. They are however, perfectly playable on a decent record player, and who wouldn’t want a piece of synthpop history at a reduced price? All other units of this first pressing are SOLD OUT.” – There are currently 9 vinyls left. No Obi strip.

Digital Albums coming to my webstore soon!

I started to upload the MSII digital albums to my webstore. Kyoto Dreams and Akari LD-01 will also follow soon! 🙂

New Single Project

I’m excited to share that I’m collaborating on a new single with the incredibly talented Andy Ellis—yes, the same Andy who remixed “When I Fall”! This time, he’s composed a beautiful instrumental and written the lyrics, and I’m thrilled to be adding my vocals. It’s not often that I sing to someone else’s composition since I usually love creating my own music, but this project has a special purpose—we’re aiming to license the song for TV shows! While there’s no release date yet, I’ll keep you updated as things progress! 🙂

Indiegogo Campaign

I’m happy to announce that the Indiegogo campaign has successfully finished, with all physicals being shipped last June. Now I just need to do the midi remix files, then it’s all DONE! 😀

Akari Board Game

Here’s a sneak preview of what I’m currently working on (and which is also the reason why things have been quiet)! 🙂 YEEEESSS!! AKARI – The Board Game! 😀 This ugly board game is just the ‘proto-type’, once it’s fully play-tested I will hire an illustrator to give it the best 80s cyberpunk aesthetics possible! 🙂 And of course there will be a follow up AKARI LD-02 album that you can listen to whilst playing the game!

Release date? I don’t know yet. It could be 2025 or 2026, probably coming to gamefound.com instead of kickstarter. I’ll keep you guys posted. ^_^

Have a great evening everyone!

xoxo,

Laura
