Laura Dre announces 3rd single “I Wanna Be Your Only One”

Hello everyone! This is blog #4 and today I have some great news about my new upcoming single! I’m officially announcing “I Wanna Be Your Only One” coming to your favourite music app soon. You might have seen this already if you are receiving my newsletters. My 3rd and new single “I Wanna Be Your Only One” will come out on April 30th to all digital music stores worldwide! It’s a dancy, 80s infused Synth-pop tune, with some dark and sexy undertones and a deep bass that will give you the chills. The lyrics follow the unrequited love theme on my album. There is a secret 1-minute snippet available, which we have not advertised. We just posted it on instagram a few weeks ago and left it there with no commentary. 🙂

What I’m currently up to
So I’ve been quite busy creating all the artwork for my singles and my upcoming album! Yes, I design them myself! 🙂 Soon you’ll see my album artwork up on bandcamp and on Outland Recordings‘ website ready for pre-order. The artwork is something that you’ve not seen in Synthwave before. It’s retro and unique, just like my music. I’m also moving slightly away from the previous city scenery / artwork, so here’s my hand drawn face next to a window for the “I Wanna Be Your Only One” artwork. There will be a limited number of Vinyls, CDs & Cassettes becoming available for the all the retro lovers out there, so make sure to place a pre-order before it’s sold out! 🙂 Given the overwhelming response that we’ve seen across socials, they will go fast!

Current Album Status
I’ve actually completed writing and producing my first album, however my songs are still in the process of being mixed and mastered by my good old friend Robert Harder. He’s a marvellous engineer and you as a listener only deserve the best quality! 🙂 It will be all worth the wait when the album comes out. I cannot tell you how excited I am for this to be happening and especially to have vinyl and cassettes to come out! 🙂 Right now I’m working on my second album. I have already written 5 songs, and now I’m working on the 6th song. As a rough estimate, we’re aiming to release the album this summer.
Tour Schedule
As you know due to COVID-19 we can’t exactly plan anything to specific dates, but what I can confirm is, that a tour through Japan is definitely on the schedule! 🙂 We just have to wait now until Japan open its borders again. In the meantime I’m trying to finish Album II by end of August so that I can focus on rehearsals.
